Hi @Neha189 👋

A huge welcome to the Community Center. How long have you been hosting your farmhouse. It could be a great spot for folks who enjoy the outdoors. Is there much wildlife nearby or any good walking trails? It's always nice to know what’s on offer for nature lovers.

Have you been thinking about hosting for a little while?

Hi @Rebecca,

Thank you for your inputs, I have been thinking about hosting since last 6 months but due to extreme rains we kept it on hold. Now, we have opened our farmhouse for like minded people who love nature. We have hills and green pastures, fields and farms all around but no wildlife, thankfully 🙂 !!

India has extreme diversity in weather, food, clothing, festivities, language and rural villages exudes the best of all of this. We want to welcome everyone who want a getaway from pollution, city noise and any depression.

Oh that sounds like  a lovely spot for a peaceful escape @Neha189  😍 Hehe, you're lucky with no wildlife!

What sort of experience are you hoping your guests will take away from a stay at your farmhouse? Are you planning any special activities or just letting folks soak up the scenery?

You got some lovely responses from hosts on your listing critique requests. Did you make any changes from that feedback?

Hi Rebecca,

Yes I did make some changes and have made a list of items I need and as suggested by all of you wonderful people. Since, this is a  remote area, will travel to city coming week to buy all stuff. Well, the place is actually very quiet and I think people who want to getaway from the city chaos will love to enjoy the peace, the nature and yes, we do have chaos throughout the day but that's the birds chit chatting!! Can't help it 😄 So, basically to eat, sleep, meditate, sing and dance around trees like in Indian Film songs!! As for activities, guests can go cycling, go for nature leisure walks, enjoy a trip to village where they can enjoy food on earthen stoves, watch milking of cows and have fresh milk, buy local handicrafts, learn organic soap making and crochet etc. We can also arrange a trip to Jaipur, which is the nearest city with rich historical and cultural heritage.

Living in city aparment's deprive one of small pleasures that life and nature offers, as simple as lying on cot and gazing at the stars, we want the people to explore and love the simplicities of life. Hence, the name Star Gaze!

I'm glad to hear some of the comments helped @Neha189 😍

I like the idea of guests getting to watch cows being milked and trying food cooked on earthen stoves. The bird “chaos” sounds lovely actually, a proper countryside soundtrack.

How do people usually get to your place? Do most drive, or is there decent public transport from Jaipur? Just thinking about what sort of tips you give guests arriving from the city.
