Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

My name is Todd, and I began hosting in November 2024 after several years of being a guest! My apartment in Charlotte, NC decided last fall to allow short-term rentals, so this is new to me.

A New York state native, I have an official residence of North Carolina, spend much of winter in Miami Beach, and travel much of the US for business all year!

Thankful for the Community Center resource! Hope I can be a helpful resource as well.

I am from the Seattle area, and we have the most perfect weather up here for 6 months of the year and the other half of the time you probably have heard it rains.  The area offers the perfect balance for indoor and outdoor activities.  Me like my fellow Seattleites are busy all Summer long hiking, biking, camping and running around, then when the rains come its like we migrate indoors, watch lots of movies, do lots of computing, board games, talk on the phone, play with our pets and watch TikTok.  I am here to learn more about Airbnb details and make more friends.

Hello Everyone 

my name is Tiffany and I just recently became a co host about 6 months ago for a property that I also have cleaned at for almost a year now 😊 I absolutely love it! ❤️ I love to travel and play volleyball. I haven’t been to many places but hope to change that this year. Florida is my usual go to, because I love the beach 🏝️ I go a lot with my kids and husband 🙂

Hello!  I am a part of the hosting community of Pittsburgh, PA!  My journey started in 2014, when I first heard about Airbnb through a photographer.  Soon after, I was hosting my first guest, who, by the way, became a friend.  Years, later, in 2019, we met again and I gave him a tour of the Facebook campus, where I worked at the time.  The connection that we make with unique guests can be so long lasting and enriching!  I love staying with Airbnb guests when I travel and I have booked 16 Airbnb experiences. From food tours to hiking, there is something for everyone.  I am thrilled to be a part of this community.

Hi @Elisa ,

Facebook has many office spaces.  Menlo Park is the primary, where guests can have a tour with their employee hosts.
You asked me a question I had not though about.  Guest or Host? I believe at this point,  being a guest has more of a surprise element for me in terms of the space where I'm staying and the people I am meeting.  I'm passionate about traveling and fostering connections.
