Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

I’m sure your work as a children's yoga instructor must be so rewarding. Yoga on the beach sounds like a dream! 🧘‍♀️

@Elisa, I love how you're combining your love for exploring new places with a deep appreciation for art and culture. You’ve definitely visited some beautiful cities ** Rome and Paris are high on my list too! 🎨🍝 It’s wonderful to blend the past with the present and find beauty in every corner of the world.

As for me, being from Colombia 🇨🇴 and now living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦, I definitely have a passion for experiencing different cultures. Dancing is a huge part of my life 💃, and mountain biking and hiking keep me grounded and connected to nature 🚵‍♀️🌲. I can't wait to visit more countries and immerse myself in all they have to offer!

Hi all, my name is Yu and I have been a superhost since 2021. I work a full time job in corporate while managing 4 (soon to be 5) airbnb rentals in Tallahassee, FL USA. 

I originally did airbnb due to a rental being difficult to rent out and tried to do Airbnb and found out we had more success and have been trying to grow our portfolio since. It has been very nice to supplement the W2 and using the extra income to support the parents and family. I plan on acquiring more and starting to manage co-host for others.

So excited to learn and connect with other hosts in the space!

My name is Natalia and I am a new as a host. We have a lovely private and newly remodeled property in Hershey Pennsylvania. Our best feature is a retractable enclosed swimming pool. In the winter it can be heated up to 104 and enjoy swimming during freezing temperatures. In the summer, it can be easily retracted along tracts to be all the way open. It can be used all year long and we hope it attracts guests all year long as well and for them to enjoy it as much as we do!! I am excited and nervous at the same time to start this journey of renting our home. We will enjoy the process as much as we can!! Thanks for your supportive community!
