Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

Thank you for the warm welcome. My name is Marie and my husband Pascal and I are new hosts. Our property is located in San Antonio, TX but we live in the Dallas area. We are hosting remotely so the learning curve has been steep. I am looking forward to learning and leveraging the knowledge in this community. I love traveling, experiencing new cuisine and good wine. This is a new adventure for us as we are about to become empty nesters.

I partner with a cleaning company via Turno and I use a PMS to facilitate communications. I also have a handyman/maintenance assistant who can complete needed tasks.

I want to learn more about optimizing my listing, marketing, pricing, enhancing guest experience.

Hola! I'm Captain Sean, and my Puerto Rico story started in 2017, right after Hurricane Maria. I came with my construction company to help rebuild — homes, roofs, businesses.  What began as a mission to lend a hand turned into something much deeper. I fell in love with the people, the culture, the resilience of this island... and I never left.

Today, I run TSM— a full-service vacation rental management company built right here in Puerto Rico. We work with homeowners to take the stress out of short-term rentals, handling everything from guest communication to maintenance, bookings, and pricing strategy.

Because we live here full-time, we understand the island’s unique challenges — and we know how to turn them into opportunities. Our team is multilingual (English, Spanish, and French), locally connected, and committed to keeping your property cared for while helping it perform at its best.

Puerto Rico has given me so much. This is my way of giving back — by sharing it with guests from around the world and helping property owners succeed with peace of mind.

Hey y’all, I’m Joshua—born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, where the food’s rich, the people wave at strangers, and family always comes first. I’ve got a background in caregiving, tech, and fixing up just about anything with my own two hands. About a month ago, I became a co-host after restoring one of my mom’s homes that was damaged in a flood. Instead of waiting on a contractor, I rolled up my sleeves and rebuilt it myself.

Our Airbnb’s in Baton Rouge, tucked in a quiet little pocket of town. It has a spacious private patio right out front—a great spot to sip coffee, read, or just watch the day roll by. I’ve only hosted one guest so far, but I’m just getting started, and I’m excited to keep learning and growing in this journey. My goal is simple: create a place that feels like home.
