Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

I started hosting 2 years ago but unfortunately I had to move from that property so I unlist it but I didn't give up and now I have a new property I put it up enf of February. I hope to have a successful hosting journey. So far I am mostly marketing on social media. Is there any other platform I can use?

Yes, however I was out of the platform re using another account to manage the properties.

Currently Im managing 1 property through my company and providing consultancy services to other users together with a partner who already has around 4 years in Airbnb and has around 6-7 properties listed

So far it's been really good. The only issue I'm still trying to solve it's related to payments. For some reason the bank account registered hasn't been validated yet, so meanwhile I'm using a different payment method. Other than that, very intuitive and easy to manage the information, the properties and details needed. 😎

What about you? How long have you been a member of the community and hosting through the platform?

Hi everyone! I’m Nikita, and I’m excited to connect with fellow hosts.

I manage my own Airbnb as well as several properties for others here in Connecticut. I also own Cleaning Service CT, which helps streamline operations from deep cleans to fast turnovers. Having a trusted network of contractors, handymen, and landscapers makes it easier to keep both guests and property owners happy.

Hosting is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether it's creating a welcoming space or checking in to make sure everything's going smoothly, I always aim to provide a great experience. I speak English, Latvian, and Russian, so I enjoy welcoming travelers from all backgrounds.

Hi, my name is Kasturi. I am a host from Maharashtra, India.

My parents have been hosting on Airbnb for more than 9 years now. I became a co-host as soon as I turned 18. Now I’m onto starting my own listing and can’t wait to host many more amazing people. As a student in college, this platform is not only a place to make friends but also a great way to earn a little side income to help me further my education. Yes I am very excited @Alex ! All these years we’ve been getting amazing like minded guests all because of the reviews. We connect with each guest personally, have a good talk, and make sure their stay is memorable. With this new listing of mine, I wanna go up a level and make sure that my property itself is the best in the area. Competition has also risen and that is making it hard to get reservations. 
I join this community because I want to connect with experienced hosts and learn how I can make my listing better. And so far I find this platform a treasure chest of knowledge! I am so grateful to be a part of this community 🫶🏼
