Hello everyone! 😊
Welcome to the Community Center! 👋 I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.
Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:
@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe.
@Bhumika : 🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.
@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.
@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community. I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘 and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌
@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new.
@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘
@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲
Now it's your turn! Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? And is there something special about the location of your accommodation that you'd like to share?
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Warm regards🌻,
Elisa

My name is Muhamed, I go by Muha, I am people person and I like meeting new guests, greeting them and having coffee with them.
Hi @Muhamed15 😊,
Welcome to the Community Center, and thank you for sharing this here!
I love coffee too. 😍 What kind of coffee do you make for your guests?
-----
I am fond of Bialetti moka and italian espresso. In my Apartment I usually serve Bialetti moka, Segafredo Zanetti or Lavazza blends, but the guests also have French Press and regular coffee pot for Bosnian/Turkish coffee and local blend of fine grounded coffee by Franck. Planning to put Philips LatteGo Espresso Machine, that I am using at home, next year when the warranty expires and to get new machine for my self.
Hey there! I’m Juan Pablo, from Mexico.
I joined Airbnb in April, and I just wanted to share a bit of my journey with you.
After 10 years of saving every peso, cutting back on vacations, and saying no to all kinds of expense especially during the building phase I finally made it. I bought the land, designed the space, and poured everything I had into bringing this dream to life. Im thankful the cabin is fully booked and guest favorite. It’ll still take about three more years to recover the investment, so I’m not quite there yet—but I'm definitely on the way. I’m 45 now, but at 19, I was homeless.
I’m sharing this because I want you to know: it’s possible. If you’re just starting, or struggling to keep going—don’t give up. If you put your heart into something, truly, you'll get to where you want.
Thanks for reading.

It sounds beautiful, especially with that beachfront condo and all the amenities. Saudi Arabia must be a big change from the Philippines, how are you finding life there? Got a favourite local food yet?
Hello @Rebecca,
I'm very grateful and honored to meet you.
It was lovely and quite a surprise finding Saudi Arabia, it was Jubilant. It has a unique experience with a blend of traditional culture, &, and modern amenities; with such huge shopping malls, Top-quality healthcare, cultural experiences, cost-efficient living, and Good opportunities for education & disadvantages, living expenses, Climate, and weather conditions.
They have a wide array of mouth-watering cuisine, my favorites are Kabsa (the national dish), Mandi, Saleeg, Jareesh, and Mutabbaq. Other well-known dishes include Shawarma, Falafel, and desserts like Kunafa and Maamoul. You must put it on your bucket list, places to visit new experiences
Consider it added to my bucket list @Noemi415 - it sounds so wonderful! 😍
I do love falafel and shawarma - although as a vegetarian, I've only ever had the veggie option! What kind of property do you host?
@Rebecca Truly indeed, falafel and shawarma are my favorites. The type of property I have is a condominium, specifically a service apartment located inside a resort. Give me a shout in case you plan to visit Southeast Asia, Philippines. Cheers
Oh how lovely! I most definitely will. Meeting all you lovely hosts and seeing your fabulous listings here gives me the travel bug 🐛

Im very excited to be a part of this community! To continue to learn from and help others. I have a background in marketing and have found navigating the Airbnb marketing opportunities extremely interesting - helping me achieve almost 80% average occupancy already.
