Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Bhumika , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Elisa @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 6+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

Hi everyone!   

I'm John , in Australia, Melbourne (I live in a small beach side town called Coronet Bay) and it's my pleasure in joining the group.

 I've travelled a bit here and there, like in Asia, EU and MEA. I've lived and worked in Germany and UAE. 

Only started hosting about 2 weeks ago and already had my first guests and 2 other reservations booked. So hope it continues this way!

thank for asking got feedback from the guests. 

From what they mentioned some of the key points were, communication being proactive and the cleanliness / tidiness of the house and yard. 

And few niceties , some bottled water, biscuits and little milk packs in the fridge for their arrival. 

Also easy check in and check out process 

got some more guests next week for 12 nights, let see how that goes.

Hi I am from South-Africa, new to hosting, listed a month ago and learning all the way. thanks for the community, support and guidance. In Cape Town We have good weather, beautiful nature all around, plenty of outdoor activities & beaches. what makes our location ideal is that its a quite small-farm feel stay, just off the highway, so its easy access to all the many activities of the city, while coming back to a quite and peaceful stay to rest. That is our aim at SELAH, to have guests rest and enjoy a peaceful stay.

Hello everyone I'm Suzanne. I am originally from Peru and currently live in Northern Virginia (DC metro area). I own a cabin in the Shenandoah mountains where my children and grandchildren love to ski. I am new to Airbnb - only a year - and I am still learning the ropes but so far so good. I am a foodie! Love to buy, cook and eat great food and love trying new dishes from all over the world. My husband and I love to travel and do so as often as possible - domestically and international!

I am new to the Hosting Community - I have currently undertaken studies to obtain my Realestate licence here in Australia (Gold Coast) in Sales & Property Management. I look forward to hopefully growing a successful hosting & co-hosting portfolio with my partner.
