Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

Hi everyone!  My name is Misty and I live in Savannah, GA.  My husband and I purchased our first investment property two months ago on Tybee Island, GA, which was a prior AirBNB, and we have jumped into hosting and managing ourselves.  Our location is a 500 sq ft unit within a condominium complex with water access.  

I am a CPA and recently left my public accounting career of ten years for a more realistic work/life balance.

Hi Alex and thank you for the welcome to the Community! We have always dreamed of owning a rental property on the beach, thankfully the property was previously an active AirBNB and were able to piggy back on the last owner to prepare for the takeover (we would have been lost in the wind lol). Looking to learn how to stand out and attract those who are wanting to escape the snow and travel to warmer weather during the slower season we are coming up on.  I appreciate your support and any suggestions that the Community may have as we continue through our first year of being a part of AirBNB!

Olá, Sou Jessica, Brasileira, e recentemente passei por uma separação e ao invés de vender a casa que eu e meu ex marido morávamos resolvi aluga-la no airbnb pois a casa é super confortavel e espaçosa e está toda equipada e mobiliada, e o melhor de tudo é que fica no Litoral de Santa Catarina! E no momento eu estou transicionando de carreira e em fase de estudos morando em outra cidade, por isso vejo o Airbnb como uma fonte de renda para me custear nessa fase de estudos!

Hello, I’m Jessica, I’m Brazilian, and I recently went through a separation. Instead of selling the house that my ex-husband and I used to live in, I decided to rent it out on Airbnb because the house is very comfortable and spacious, fully equipped and furnished, and best of all, it's located on the coast of Santa Catarina! At the moment, I’m transitioning careers and studying while living in another city, so I see Airbnb as a source of income to support me during this period of study!
