@Elisa  What inspired me to start hosting was the idea of creating a space that feels like a warm hug after a long journey. As someone who works in crisis support, I know how important it is to feel safe, seen, and comfortable—even when you’re far from home. Hosting lets me share that kind of care in a more everyday way. I’ve always loved making people feel at ease, and it brings me joy to know that someone can rest, recharge, and feel genuinely welcomed in my space.” I also love sharing local tips and things to enjoy in the city and let’s not forget the money as well lol.

Hi Vera and other NJ Hosts.

I am new to this forum too.  I am a long time guest/visitor of AirBnB and VRBO and I have just decided to become a Host.  I've had some extra space in my home for years since my mother became a snow bird, and I have been considering hosting for years.  But I am ready now and very excited to meet new people from around the world.   I am hoping this is is forum where hosts share ideas and questions and navigate community challenges together.  If this is not the case, please let me know.
