Recommendation for a new host in East London
Dear hosts in. London,
I am very new to hosting in airbnb . I am not so sure if my post can stay, but I would like to ask your advise or help.
-I am thinking of getting a co host ? How is it for you? Worthy or not so much?
- Also I am. thinking to get a professional managing company , but also not so sure , did you have any good experience, anyone out there who is actually good?
- Lastly I am sort of urgently in need a good professional cleaner or cleaning company who understands this business. Canary Wharf area mainly.
Might be any recommendations on that ?
So sorry if I breach any policies in this community centre, hope it can stay and some of you can recommend few things.
All appreciated.
Warm regards, Tunde

Hello @Tunde21
There is a London host group on FB you can join. I would suggest you join this and ask for recommendations for co-hosts. Always speak to at least three or four and ask them to provide a quote. Do make sure you take up references and only work with co-hosts that offer a contract.
The majority of hosts however find they can manage hosting by themselves for one or two places, without the help of a management agency who can take up to 40 percent of your day rate, or just with the help of a cleaner. It really depends on your set up and other commitments.
I would also suggest if you employ a co-host get one who is local to your listing so they are able to get to the property easily if there is an emergency or an issue with guests. London is such a huge city you don't want to employ someone to be on hand who has to spend an hour or more to get to your place.
I find a great way to get cleaners is to advertise on local area FB groups.
Good luck.
