We've lost thousands of dollars, as many of you probably have as well, but what bothered me is yesterday a guest canceled AFTER HER SCHEDULED CHECK-IN TIME, and airbnb offered her a full refund (of my money), and provided 0% financial help to us.
So Airbnb sits in their multi-million state-of-the-art facilities simply collecting the money that we hosts accrue for them through our hard work, and they violate their own policy to us without asking us for an iota of feedback, and leave us to try to pay for our mortgages and expenses while providing full immunity to the random travels. And they don't even reach out to us to tell us that they're doing that.
Pretty scary to know that Airbnb will thow us to the wolves to protect themselves and their guests.
