I am coming up on my year mark of Airbnb hosting. This is the first. The only thing that these guys did right with their stay was to send me a message upon checking out. After seeing the home I am surprised that they had the guts to let me know. Trash through out. Food left uneaten. Every pot, pan, utensil, plate, cup, you name it, if it was in the kitchen it was used and left with food on it. Once they ran out of plates and such they bought paper and left those used all over the home.
In the state of Arizona you have to have alarms on your doors if there is a pool in the yard. I have instructions in our Welcome Book on how to disarm the alarm when going outside. Instead of reading the instructions they vandalized the alarm by pulling out the wires that make it work.
This guy had no previous reviews and joined Airbnb a year ago. I believe other host may not have wanted to review him in fear of getting a poor review back. Well let me tell you. I do not want any other host out there going through what I just did. I will be reviewing him and if this cost me my super host status, so be it.
Please, please, I beg you all. If you have a poor guest let us know!!
I will be requesting more funds for extra cleaning and to have the alarm fixed or maybe replaced. I still don't know for sure if it can be fixed.
