Xmas gift for someone guest booking did not stay

I  am a super host a guest booked a stay as a present for his mother so he has not stayed here as it was a gift. Although Airbnb want me to leave a review  but the person who booked it has not stayed. I have let him know in a message I have not left a review as it was his mother’s Christmas present stay. If I don’t do a review does that count against me with Airbnb?

@Katherine584 No it doesn't count against a host not to leave a review. When we have 3rd party bookings we still review but just explain in the review who stayed and hence who we are reviewing.

Thankyou for your reply that was really helpful information. I always review people who have stayed but I have never been sure if I did not leave a review AirBnB would put a black mark against me 🤣. Thanks Katherine
