Cohost payments. Anyone happy with the new feature?

Hello Airbnb community!

Is anyone else finding a bit more confusing with the new cohost payment option? It was previously really simple and now a bit less streamlined.

Has anyone found a method to keep as streamlined as before?

 No, I'm not happy with my current arrangement with one of my co-hosting jobs. You're right, it used to be very simple and now it's not! My host pays me 10% of the booking fee, minus HER cleaning fee charged to the guests. So I'm the cleaner as well, and I am not paid the same as what is charged to guests, it's less. I don't understand how that's fair? I get $130. and they charge $150. to guests. So basically I'm taking a hit of $20.00 per booking!

 That’s is not good!! Maybe have your host pay you directly. I mean if they were first paying you 150 why not now directly so you get what you both agree on. That’s a big cut! For every 5 you do, that’s $100 you are missing. I would highly suggest you speak with them, I’m sure they will understand. Best of luck! Xx
