Hi, what is everyone doing with your listings in Miami Beach with the new Short Term Ban by the city ?, i heard that local officers where going from door to door asking tenants and occupants about their stays (if they rent, how long, how much paid, etc...)

HI, I understand all listings that are not in the correct zones are now unpublished, i called Air BNB support, they unpublished a legal listing i have - and their staff had no knowledge of this new and sweeping decision. i complied with the Air BNB form to have my apartment published on January 4 - and it is still unpublished.
Flip Key and VRBO have the same decision -

Hosts, has anyone been able to re list their listing on Airbnb after it was hidden under the new regulations? Can you successfully re- activate it if you put a 181 minimum days on it? What's everyone doing ??!! We need to help each other ...the hotels have gotten away with stripping away our property rights

I'm purchasing a property in downtown Miami (One Miami) and I'm interested in knowing more about how to learn if it's possible to list the property in airbnb. I've seen several condos from the same building posted on airbnb already. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
One quick good source for information about short term rentals is Redfin. In most cities, they will indicate the lease restrictions. It looks like One Miami has a 30 day minimum lease. You would still have to get various licenses to do it legally. I'm not sure about Miami, but in Miami Beach, it's no problem finding renters for a minimum of 30 days for a nice condo on the beach.

Use shared knowledge to your advantage, whilst there's 21 / 180 days in New South Wales and 30 in other places, use comparable legislation to your advantage.
