I am new to Air Bnb and hosted my first guest on Air Bnb from the 28th of December to the 1st January 2025. The bidvest mandate came to me on the 29/12/24 which was signed and the expected date in which I would receive funds was the 03/01/2025.
I also hosted a guest from the 01/01/25 to today the 07/01/25. This mandate was signed on the 02/01/25 with the expected payout date being the 10/01/25.
I have not yet received the funds from the first guests booking, however, I have received the funds from the second guests booking.
Airbnb is not very clear. I have spoken to 3 different agents who say the payment was sent, and I have been transferred to someone better equipped to handle the issue(this person hasn't contacted me yet). I know that there is a clause for new hosts where a payout can be held up to 30 days since the first reservation is made. This reservation was made on in October 2024, so my question is, will they hold the payout from the time the mandate is signed perhaps?
I have asked my bank to track it, they cannot, airbnb says that the payout was sent and the payment status is 'paid.' I also emailed bidvest because the mandate came from them. I need help please. I don't know why I received payment 2 before payment 1, and guest 3 is arriving soon, so I am concerned.
