We'd love to hear from our superhosts: what’s the one key element you believe is essential for delivering an outstanding guest experience?
@Rebecca Breakfast! I am a superhost because I provide value for money, a dedicated bathroom, a clean room with a comfortable bed, and a homemade breakfast. These are all things I look for when I stay in another host's home. But the one thing my guests always mention is the breakfast.
Granted, I am retired, and I have the time to do this, but it is always so enriching for me personally to have that morning time conversation with my guests and to get to know them. It has enriched my retirement life and kept me busy and active.
Dear @Matteo1140 ,
As a superhost, I believe the key element for delivering an outstanding guest experience is making guests feel like you are always there for them. Being responsive and available can make a huge difference in their comfort and satisfaction.
Additionally, cleanliness is crucia. Guests should feel that they are staying in a well-maintained environment. Lastly, providing good value for the price is essential. Guests appreciate when they feel they’re getting a great experience for what they pay. These elements combined create a memorable stay.
Best regards from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo

Well, I think we all agree that communication with our guests is the key.
I also belive that customising the experience and being proactive with the guest is important.
Don't make them have to ask.
Provide everything you yourself might need to ask - if you would have been the guest.
A good way to do that is to stay there yourself - as a guest.
That gave me some rather good insights on what was needed - both in equipment and information.
And also - ask them. When they checkout - for some ideas on what might be good.
They will always have something of value for you.
Good luck out there!
What a fantastic collection of advice, thanks everyone!
I wonder, what are your biggest takeaways from all these replies, @Matteo1140? 😊
@Rebecca Everything that has been said is pretty much what I do. Instant communication. Immaculate
dwelling. I do have full breakfast, but they have to cook it themselves. One thing I do is I always have a hot meal ready for them when they first arrive. They always mention that in
their reviews. Love that! HAHAHA.

Communication from the beginning, from the publication itself. So that everything is clear and there are no surprises. Also during the reservation and stay, and in the evaluation. You have to identify what the guests are looking for, some just want a place to stay and do not want to exchange so much, others like more exchange or need information. I like to receive them as if I were receiving a group of friends or relatives. I leave in the apartment the same things I use when I go with my family, the same comforts as in the house where one lives all year round.
Of course the cleanliness, order and beauty of the environment. I take care of the details. Good luck to all!
