Account deletion - Gift credit recovery

Does anybody know if i decide to delete my account AirBnB, what happens to my existing Gift Credit? Could i request its payout after account will be deleted?

  thanks for sharing this link. I have seen that before as well, but it actually doesn’t give me answer on my question what’s happen to my account credit.

@Jan13009 Account credit is, as the name suggests, a credit and not cash so will be lost if you delete your account.

@Mike-And-Jane0 Thanks for your answer. Even I have to say this is not necessary legally correct in every European country. I was hoping somebody had already this case and could me point to place, where AirBnB addresses this as I had not luck self to find it yet. The gift credit on my account was paid by my cash and is technical my even after contract termination and I should have right to recover these if i decide to terminate my account.

Hi I am currently I. The same situation where they are saying they will keep my $800 worth of gift cards. Did you ever find a resolution to this issue?

No, i have never got a resolution for this and my money are still locked with AirBnB.
