I'd like people to find my Airbnb on Google Maps - so I've created a Google Business Profile and added my Airbnb URL. However, Google doesn't display it on the listing. Has anyone else had this issue, and how did you resolve it?
Also, I'm not sure which category to add the listing under:
Bed & Breakfast
Serviced Accommodation
Self Catering Accommodation
?
BTW my listing is a private room: airbnb.co.uk/h/grangegarden
Thanks for any feedback!

Hello @Jane4321,
That’s a very interesting idea. I would like to do that myself. I reckon we would need senior management in Google to speak to senior management in AirBnB.
following this with interest☺️

Hi Jim,
Yes indeed! 😀
Hello @Jane4321,
This can be done, I have managed to do it.
You need to fill in all the necessary information.
However, it may not work in your case as you are renting a room in your house and not the whole property.
Furthermore, where this falls down is if you have multiple units, it only shows one. I have not yet found a way to have multiple units listed!
Hope this helps
Paul
Thanks for sharing Paul!
I should have clarified in my previous message. I've already created the Google Profile. But the website field iie. my Airbnb URL that isn't being displayed: https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/1050792139855916294
I wonder if there are manual checks for the proposed information to be added, before it's finally added? Maybe Airbnb URLs are blocked for some reason. Was your website displayed immediately after adding the info?
I have the same issue, would be great to get a response.
Looks like Google sends a verification postcard with instructions to follow? It says to pick "Vacation Rental" as your category.
https://www.google.com/business/
Step 1: Create or sign up in to your Google account
Head over to the Google Business Profile website and sign in with your Google account. If you don’t have one, create one first.
Step 2: Claim your business listing
Click "Manage now" and search for your Airbnb. If it doesn’t pop up, select "Add your business to Google."
Step 3: Provide accurate business details
Fill in your Airbnb’s name, address, phone number, website and don’t forget to pick “Vacation Rental” as your category.
Step 4: Verification process
Google needs to double-check your listing, so they’ll send a postcard to your Airbnb’s address with a secret verification code or via phone call or through email. Keep an eye out for it and follow the instructions to finish up.
