Additional Discount - to show as discount

Good day

How can we offer additional discount (the options available is very limited)

We would like to offer a % discount for a number of days, over and above the discount offered.

I do not just want to drop the price - I would like to have this indicated as a discounted offer

Hi @Michael-Arthur0

It sounds like you have already looked at the discount options under Pricing, but I think this one does achieve what you are looking for:

Go to calendar, in the pricing tab scroll to "set up discounts". It allows you to "offer discounts based on the length of a booking".

(This is not the same as running a promotion - promotions don't take length of stay into account)

Thanks @Shelley159 - Appreciate the quick response.

It is just a pity that there is no option for a "Flash Sale" as an example, where you can give additional % discount up to a certain date.

We do not want to force people to stay for 2 weeks to get the discount. (As an example)

A pity the options are very limited

Its not ideal but when I wanted to do a 'spring sale' I used pro tools in calendar where I select the dates I want to discount and then set a rule for them. I choose a different discount for different lengths of stay (I.e. 3 nights 10% off, 5 nights 15% off, 7 nights 20% off). I then set a minimum stay for this discount set. I can then apply that rule set to all the dates I want to include.

@Michael-Arthur0

You can do this (sorta) using Pro Tools and Rule Sets.

You can also do this if you use a third party Property Management System (PMS) attached to your Airbnb account.
