Air BnB app update

Hi

wonder if anyone can help .

my iPhone 7 won’t update the air BnB app which I have been using as a host account for years .

it just won’t update as my phone is too old 

an iPhone 7

so I cannot open my calendar at all for 2025 etc

is there anyway I can transfer the old original app/account over to a Mac book computer without starting all over again ..?

Hello @Jan394 

Yes an Iphone 7 can't support all the new updates that have recently taken place but if you want to access your listing/account using a Mac then you need to go onto:

https://www.airbnb.co.uk/

and use the switch to hosting feature and log into your account there.

@Joelle43 has some good suggestions on how to work around this. That said, most Hosts use their phone to access Airbnb and not a computer; especially when they aren't home.

I suggest investing in a "newer" (not necessarily latest model) of cell phone. You can get alot of good deals on used older models and it would be worth it for the convenience of having your phone be capable of accessing the Airbnb App.

You also might be able to access the App on an iPad or tablet if it is compatible.
