Air BnB’s broken tax reporting department

Our 1099’s  are wrong.  We have 4 cohosts.  The 1099’s for 3 of them added together correctly show 100% of the  earnings  for the year.  The 4th cohost earned nothing for the year but was reported as having earned 100% .  The unit earned BY AIR BNB’s EARNINGS REPORT, roughly $50,000.  When you add the earnings on all 4 1099’s it equals over $100,000.?!

We have reached out multiple times, through “Dedicated Super Host Team”, email and phone calls only to be told it’s being looked into.  No one from Air BnB has addressed this.
This is not a new problem on this forum and I’ve searched to see if anyone had it resolved by Air BnB so I could follow their lead but couldn’t find any resolutions.
Has anyone gotten a corrected 1099 from Air BnB?  If so how did you go about doing it.

Hi @Jennifer5229

As it had been a few weeks, I wanted to check in with you and see how you were getting on with this. Have you heard more from the Support team?

I'd love to know if they've managed to get to the bottom of this with you, or if you still need more advice. 🙂

Thanks,

Emilie
