AirBnB is not paying us after 5 years being a Superhost

We have hosted more than 140 guests over last 5 years and have maintained our Superhost status.  Suddenly, Airbnb decided to stop paying us and we have a guest staying in our home with 13 upcoming reservations this year.  I have spoken at length to three service advisors and they all tell me something different. The last woman said that she cannot escalate my call any further and cannot give us a timeframe when we will be paid!!  THEY SAY OUR KYC HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED.  We filled everything out in the past and verified our identities and bank accounts.  There is no link to fill anything more out.  This feels like a company that is desperate due to decline in US sales.  Our world is in a state of chaos and now Airbnb has joined the ranks of professional dysfunction.  It does not feel right to be associated with a company that is illegally holding our money, the guests has paid, we are hosting and no payment as scheduled.  This is unprofessional and corrupt to steal our money.  The company is paid and we are hosting.  Par for the course these days

.  We are very disappointed and ready to cancel all future reservations after five good years of business.  VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Other Hosts are mentioning this as well and this is part of the ID re-verification that Airbnb said they would be doing last year. Supposedly, you should have received emails requesting the information? Airbnb doesn't really care about Superhost status, just that they need to re-verify Hosts accounts and new documents and ID need to be submitted or they will block your calendar and/or withhold payments until you do.

You also should have seen this warning on the traveling side of your profile. Alot of Hosts missed it:

I myself is going through the same problem. I have gone through the verification processes at the beginning of the April, which required you to upload a Government ID, and was I verified within the hour, I actually still have the email to prove that. And the payout was coming through just fine until I got a similar notification just this past Sunday, but this time there is was place to actually upload a Government ID, despite asking us to upload one, which I find weird. Though I also find it puzzling that Airbnb is asking for it again since I just got verified just a month ago. So when I was supposed to get a payout 3 days ago and that got held, I called Airbnb Support, that’s when they say there was a “Bug with the KYC verification” and they’re working on resolving it. so I’m not sure how true is that, and they can’t even tell me how long will it will take to get the payout. I just wanted to get paid since I have bills to pay.

Oh brother...🙄

What a mess. I know of another Host who kept getting the run around and emails with links that were broken or went no where. She said It's best to wait until after business hours to contact Airbnb and she finally went in and deleted her ID out of desperation. She finally got a response on that telling her not to do that, but then she sent screen shots of all the previous attempts and error messages she kept getting and it finally was resolved.

Not sure what to suggest....

There’s not even an option to delete an ID. I even asked them to just restart the whole process and I can resubmit my ID again if needed, but if I’m still waiting for them to reply back on that message. Just frustrating since I didn’t do anything wrong, and for this to happen…. And totally helpless with bunch of people who don’t know what they’re doing or suppose to do in a big company you hope got your back since you gave them good business and loyalty all these years… and to be treated like this in return. Just disappointing…
