AirBnB is overcharging occupancy taxes in my jurisdiction

How do I reconcile what AirBnB is charging vs what the local tax is required.  They are charging 12.9% when only 9% is due

Which listing are you referring to? You have 2 in Pennsylvania and one in Maryland?

@Kevin3181  When you go into your listing and click on the Listing, Settings, Preferences, Taxes -- what do you see under local taxes collected and remitted by AirBnB?

Once you have the list, verify that you need to collect those taxes.  For example, you may have a local municipality tax for your city that you do not need to pay because your property is outside the city limits or in an unincorporated portion of your County.  AirBnB may also be listing a tax agency that you were not aware of.

Here is what my AirBnB tax collection looks like.  NOTE that there is no percentage listed next to each value; you have to find that percentage on the relevant tax agency page.
