Iʻm wondering if anyone has had any experience with Aircover (good or bad)? Last week, we sustained damage to our property - the worst of it to our 2-year-old refrigerator door. It is inexplicably covered in dents, which the guest claims they know they know nothing about. I made a claim to the Airbnb Resolution dept. and provided many pictures of the damage. I then contacted several appliance repair companies (and even an auto body repair shop) who all stated they could not repair the damage. One guy told me itʻs nearly impossible to remove dents, and even if somewhat successful, the refrigerator will never look the same. The only solution is to either replace the door or the refrigerator entirely. I explained all of this to the rep handling my claim, but they continue to push back. They have asked me to produce an incident report that asks for information that I canʻt produce such as: "origin and cause of damage" (I donʻt know, I wasnʻt there!), and "even if it can no longer be fixed, we will need the average to repair the damaged item". I have asked the one repair guy if he can do the report (this would be an out-of -pocket service call expense), and he explained he can only state that the door canʻt be fixed.
My concern is that I am going to incur additional expenses, and when I canʻt provide all the details AirCiver is asking for, they will deny the claim. Has anyone else been involved in such an incident, or had your claim denied? And if so, what were you told?

Thank you so much for asking! I am very happy to report that the resolution dept. took a second look at my case and has reimbursed me for damages! I am in the process of buying a new refrigerator since the damaged one canʻt be repaired.
