Airbnb Desperately Needs One-time Extra Guest Fee Options

Airbnb lets us set a nightly price for additional people, but that setting almost never reflects my actual costs.  A 2 night booking with $10/night for each additional guest prices out very differently that a 2 month booking.  VRBO lets hosts set a one-time fee for additional guests, which makes a lot more sense since extra guests generate a lot of one-time costs (like extra bedding and towels).

I would really like to be able to do both: a one-time fee for each additional guest, and a much smaller nightly fee to account for additional utilities and wear & tear.

Has anyone found a smart way to price extra guests using the existing settings?

The "additional guest fee" is not considered as subject to discounts (like weekly and monthly discounts)

Additional guests fee is typical for short term stays, for "long term stays" it is not suitable.

Then better make an special offer for the whole party (like a family) staying long term.
