Hi @Devin241 😊,
Thank you for asking this question here!
I’m sorry to hear about this situation, but I’m glad you were able to find a host to discuss it with.
Did you have a chance to contact Customer Support as our host @Joan2709 suggested?
Do you need their contact details?
Don’t forget to let us know!
Warm regards 🌻

I contacted Support and it does not seem promising - it took a lot of back and forth to explain what the Embed option even is on Airbnb. This does not instill much confidence that this will be fixed in timely manner. Can you please escalate, since clearly many of us are having this issue? There seems to be something broken in the code and a developer with proper knowledge on this subject should be able to fix it universally. Thanks.
I am having the exact same issue. We're you able to get any resolution?
I contacted Airbnb but have not heard back yet.
Thank you for letting me know!
I'm truly sorry about this situation. Would you be able to share a screenshot of the issue?
It will help our team of experts better understand the situation.
Warm regards, 🌻

Hello, I do not see an option to add a screen shot here but here is the broken 404 link I get when following the embedded HTML link provided directly from our listing.
You can see the error on the webpage is the exact same as Devin described.
Here´s what it looks like. What you see if you click on this link is the embedded content that users can choose to share on homepages etc. Somethink is not in order though since you are directed to an adress that doesn't exist once you click the preview that is displayed.
FYI, the Support team cannot help with this - they told me that the "Internal" team has to help. This was after they sent me a link to my Airbnb listing and told me it works just fine. Whoever the Internal team is, please make clear to them the HTML code to embed is the problem, not our actual listing URLs.
Here's some screenshots in hopes this escalates this faster.
404 error
Embed option under Share
This is what is referred to as HTML code. This is different than a website URL.
I have the same problem and airbnb doesn't seem to know how to help. Anybody have any suggestions on how to make it work?
Hi @Thilde494 😊,
Thank you for letting me know!
I'm sorry about this. How long have you been dealing with it?
Our team of experts will work on this!

I have been in contact with customer service and hope they can fix the problem. When I want to embed my airbnb listing on my homepage I copy and paste the HTML-code as Im supposed to but it then only sends visitors to a error/404-page
Hi @Thilde494 😊,
Thank you for letting me know!
Don't hesitate to pop in another message if it's not fixed in the next few days.
Warm regards, 🌻

Do you have a direct booking website you are trying to add the Airbnb URL to, or using the Airbnb URL for social media?
If so, try creating a custom URL and use that instead:
Create a Custom Link For Your Listing
https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/3723
Another option would be to create a QR code from the correct Airbnb URL and use that instead of the URL string. There are free QR code creation websites like QR Code Monkey.
Just creating a link to airbnb works fine but when I want to embed code to make a preview of my house (with photos and rating) on my homepage there´s seems to be an error that makes it so that people clicking on it pon my homepage is brought to a 404 errorpage on airbnb instead of my listing.
The code looks like this:
<div class="airbnb-embed-frame" data-id="10539130" data-view="home" data-hide-price="true" style="width: 450px; height: 300px; margin: auto;"><a href="https://www.airbnb.se/rooms/10539130?guests=1&adults=1&s=66&source=embed_widget">Visa på Airbnb</a><a href="https://www.airbnb.se/rooms/10539130?guests=1&adults=1&s=66&source=embed_widget" rel="nofollow">Huset i Pomonadalen</a><script async="" src="https://www.airbnb.se/embeddable/airbnb_jssdk"></script></div>
and even though the links are correct (www.airbnb.se/rooms/10539130) you end up on the adress: www.airbnb.se/room/10539130 (only on "s" is missing) and thats not anything but a 404 page.
