when i embed the listing into my website, the url shows up as https://www.airbnb.com/room/{room} rather than what it should be https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/{room}
Same issue here!
I am also having this issue. Two days ago, I sent screenshots showing the embed code that has "rooms", but when you click the link, it becomes "room".
As a temporary workaround, I just put a note on my site saying there is a problem linking to Airbnb and a button that links to the listings. It isn't pretty, but it works.
It looks like this problem started sometime in late February, so it has been at least a month.
I checked the whole sorce code for the preview of the listing and found that on line 68 there's an error where it links too "room" instead of "rooms".
I have sent this and a lot of other info to Airbnb but they are very slow in fixing the problem. It took a long time to even convince the customer support that it wasn't a problem caused byt the code on my own homepage. Hopefully someone from airbnb checks in on this page and decides to find a solution to the problem.
I am a website developer facing the same issue! So frustrating. I will see what I can do to reach out to support.
I have this same issue with rooms getting changed to room in the URL
Any update on this? Is being days without a fix.
It's been a month and a half by now and I don't understand how they can't have it fixed by now.
I'm having the exact same issue for weeks now. I hope they fix it soon. there's a problem in the Airbnb embed script which takes the "s" off of "rooms" in the link and creates an error. HELP, AIRBNB!!! Click on any link to "View on Airbnb" here: https://sites.google.com/view/vgrentals/ponderosa-boutique
It ends up on a broken page.
7,300 Airbnb employees and this still has not been fixed after almost a month.
What a time to be alive.
Hello @Joan2709
I wanted to reply here to let you know that we have forwarded this to the team at Airbnb. 😊
Then how come it isn't fixed yet? Over a month later?
My workaround for until this is fixed is to screencap the embedded image on the webpage, replace the embed code with the screencap, and add a link to my listing.
It's not dynamic and you can't click through images, but at least it's not a 404 error.

I confirm I have the same issue. The link provided embeded in the widget is incorrect and there is no way to modify it from the piece of code provided by AirBnb.
