๐Ÿšจ Airbnb Review Dispute โ€“ UPDATE ๐Ÿšจ

Iโ€™ve been fighting to get a false, retaliatory, and defamatory review removed, and hereโ€™s the latest:

๐Ÿšจ The Guestโ€™s Actions:

โ€ข Left 1-star ratings across the board after Airbnb ruled in my favor and charged them for damages.

โ€ข Falsely claimed I โ€œtried to rip them offโ€ (despite Airbnb holding them liable).

โ€ข Harassed me with repeated calls & threats, saying โ€œyou better pick up or else.โ€

โ€ข Waited outside after checkout to intimidate me.

๐Ÿšจ Airbnbโ€™s Response:

โ€ข Admitted the review violates their policiesโ€”but wonโ€™t remove it.

โ€ข Their excuse? โ€œThe system wonโ€™t allow it.โ€

โ€ข Told me to submit the same form again instead of taking action.

This sets a dangerous precedentโ€”Airbnb knows the review is retaliatory but still refuses to enforce its own policies. Hosts deserve better protections.

๐Ÿ“ข Hosts, have you faced this? Share your experiencesโ€”we need to demand real change. ๐Ÿšจ

@Till-and-Jutta0

Thanks for posting this. When did Airbnb add this? Recently? Never saw any notification to Hosts about it?

@Joan2709 A fellow Community Leader has discovered it only recently.

Until now I've also seen no official release statement about it. Not sure if the new feature is available already worldwide. Usually new functions are rolled-out step-by-step-only, to be able to discover and eliminate bugs in an early stage.

Keep trying different customer service reps until it gets deleted.   You'll end up with a rep that will take on the challenge and just get it done.
