To Filipino hosts out there who have successfully registered a BPI bank account and has been receiving payouts, I need your help as my account keeps having errors. A suspected reason is the required Bank Code upon registering. Because BPI customer support is not sure of what exactly it is. They only know the swift code. Home someone can help. Thank you.

Hi everyone who is encountering the same problem, I have finally solved this. Below are the correct BPI codes that Airbnb apparently honors:
Swift Code: BOPIPHMMXXX
Bank Code: 010040018
Apparently, the swift code is the culprit. The "XXX" needs to be added at the end of it. Good thing, I tried it. I really hope Airbnb can pinpoint errors more specifically in the future as this problem took a lot of trial and error attempts. Especially that most banks doesn't really include "XXX" anymore when they provide their swift codes.
Yes, but our bank details got rejected again and Airbnb system is saying it cannot process the payment and that we should add another payment method. It has become very frustrating without them telling us which field is in error. 😥
Hi Kirsch, Im so sorry for replying so late. I'm really hoping that you managed to solve your problem already because I no longer have any suggestions except for the one that worked for me. So sorry.
Hi @Mark5136 @Patricia2526 . We used this Swift code and bank code and still our bank details were rejected. 😥 I wonder why.
This is what I used when I set up my payout method. Best is to check with your branch as well or call BPI customer hotline.
Hi @Patricia2526, thank you so much for the clarification. I just thought that the payout setup may have already changed from 5 years ago. But the current setup requires 4 things:
1. Bank
2. Acct number
3. Swift code
4. Bank code
I already went to my branch twice to try and fix the prob but they weren't really sure what to put in the bank code. They suggested something called the BRSTN but apparently, that's wrong. So again, thank you so much as you know better than those in my BPI branch. Glad that I sought help here.
Hi @Mark5136 ! Seems like you're actively in contact with the bank as well regarding your concerns.
Did you manage to sort this out since last time you posted. If you find any solution, do keep us updated. I am sure, your findings will help Hosts in similar situations!🌻
Hi @Bhumika,
Thanks for checking in, but as I've just replied to Patricia, putting "BOPI" as the bank code is still not accepted as seen in the image below:
The bank itself is also uncertain what to put there after consulting them twice already.
Still looking for help.
Thank you again.
Hi @Patricia2526,
Upon re-entering my bank account, putting BOPI as the bank code is apparently still not accepted.
Hoping you have another solution.
Thank you.
Hi @Patricia2526, I think it's looking for a numerical code. The error I showed recently only appears when I put letters.
