I currently have my guest at my house from July 23. He will stay until Oct. 29. I received the first payout on July 26. I suppose to receive this month's payout on the same date according to the payout policy of Airbnb. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for the payout now. I called Airbnb for three days, the case was created for over 49 hours, and there is no single email, message, or phone call from Airbnb about the payment status. I've been hosting on airbnb for 7 years, and this is my first experience with a delayed payout and not receiving any response from Airbnb. I don't know what is going on, and I am so frustrated and disappointed about Airbnb handling my case.
As a host, long-term partner, and stakeholder of Airbnb, I need to be paid on time for committing to build a community with Airbnb. I should not keep calling Airbnb for the payment and explained to the customer service agents online why I needed to get paid on time. This payout has already been delayed for 7 days. Should I keep explaining to Airbnb customer service agents why I needed to get paid as soon as possible?
I urge Airbnb to take urgent action on my case and send me the payout without further delay. I also ask for the delay fee on this case because it is unreasonable for Airbnb not to pay the host on time. A seven-day delay is unacceptable since my guest already paid the total upfront.
Hi @Sunny229,
I'm sorry to hear you've been waiting for a payout for a little while. Although we don't have access to your account details here, I've nudged the team for you on this one, and should I get any more info I'll let you know!
Thanks,
Emilie

Hello Emilie,
Thank you for your reply! I was talking to Airbnb customer service agent just now today, and she has no idea why the payment was not released to me and there was little information there about this payment. I am so frustrated!!! Honestly, I don't think it is right and fair for the host to ask for money from Airbnb because we are granted to be paid on time. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best,
Sunny
I’ve seen held a complaint with a booking. A guest cancelled her booking and ended up staying in the listing, violating regulations and use of prohibited substance. Support hasnt taken this case seriously, which has affected my listing, and now forced to block all my listings calender due to a pending case with local authorities. Airbnb sadly doesnt give much support to African countries host, no liason office or helpdeak.
I have the similar issue. I'm new to Hosting and I joined this community to find answers. It is really frustrating as I haven't received my payout for a month now. Whenever I'm contacting Airbnb they are telling me different things, passing me to different persons and I'm already confused why my payout is delayed. They keep assuring me but no solution. I am so worried because it's been a month.
Hello Julie,
I am sorry about the delayed payout that you are experiencing with Airbnb. I completely feel your frustration with waiting for the payment you deserve from your dedication to hosting the guests. I finally got the payout which had been delayed for two weeks from numerous phone calls and messages to the Airbnb support center (which is useless). I think Airbnb should not pay their hosts for delays because that's how they build up trust with one of their vital stakeholders. Once they start paying hosts late, it completely hurts hosts emotionally and harms the relationship between Airbnb and hosts. What I can suggest you do is to keep on calling Airbnb and find out the reason why the payout got delayed and when you will receive the payment that you should have received a month ago. Good luck with Airbnb and your hosting as well.
Hello Julie,
I think If i were you, l wld put Airbnb hosting on hold until you get paid first.
As you call them over and over because I can imagine with the people overseas go through by taking risks and such a bigger company is not taking its responsibility towards the AirBNB Hosts.
