Airbnb not paying me for photography work successfully completed months ago.

I am currently experiencing the same problem as @ David8446 in

Melbourne, FL posted about earlier this year in not getting paid for photography work completed, and the same total absence from Airbnb Helpdesk and Photo Team in communicating with me in resolving my outstanding payments complaint. I'm therefore also resorting to this platform in the hope of getting paid asap for work I've completed months ago.

- Media Box ID 617368428 shoot successfully completed on 2022-08-02 (My photos are already appearing on the listing)
- Media Box ID 555272549 shoot successfully completed on 2022-10-11 (My photos are already appearing on the listing)

As a professional photographer I have pretty much only one expectation from Airbnb, and that is to get paid within our contractually agreed timeframe for work completed.

Can someone at Airbnb please make contact with me asap to resolve this unacceptable problem.

@Johann1150  I am sorry to learn that you are not being paid for your work.  This Community is made up of hosts and is not a good means of reaching an AirBnB employee.

Good luck in getting AirBnB to honor the contract that you have with them.

Hi @Johann1150

I'm really sorry to hear about this.

I've passed your information over to the relevant team and you should hopefully hear from Airbnb really soon.

@Jenny  Thank you Jenny. I sincerely hope you're right since none of the staff at Airbnb Helpdesk or Photo Team are willing to take any meaningful action in resolving my outstanding payments complaint.

Since I've posted my above complaint I've had numerous chat conversations with various Airbnb Helpdesk staff, who have mostly just shut up my complaint my giving me an utterly useless auto reply such as: 'I’ve forwarded your inquiry to a member of my team who can better assist you. Please feel free to add any additional information to this email, and we’ll be in touch with you as soon as possible.' Or they provide me with totally irrelevant or inaccurate info.

I also emailed Airbnb Photo Team once again with the same complaint, and they simply don't respond.

The Helpdesk offers no customer service, and none of the staff I've interacted will appears to be remotely interested in assisting me to resolve my problem, or they simply lack the training. The ineptitude is something to behold, and I sincerely hope none of you in this Airbnb Community ever have a problem such as getting paid to work completed.

Can some, anyone at Airbnb please connect me with your accounts payouts department!!!

My outstanding payments are:

- Media Box ID 617368428 shoot successfully completed on 2022-08-02 (My photos are already appearing on the listing)

- Media Box ID 555272549 shoot successfully completed on 2022-10-11 (My photos are already appearing on the listing)

When would you normally expect to be paid, i.e. what is written in the contract or agreement you have with Airbnb or your invoices, if you that's how the process works? I only ask because one of those shoots seems very recent (11th October), unless I have misunderstood. Certainly, the first one must be overdue. Here in the UK, it's quite normal to expect payment within a month of an invoice being issued, but we wouldn't necessarily expect to be paid before that unless otherwise agreed. I don't know how it works where you are.

I do feel your frustration. As a freelancer, there is always the risk that a client doesn't pay and then ignores you. It has happened to me and that was one of the most famous publishing houses. At first, they kept responding that they didn't know why I hadn't been paid and could I resubmit the invoices, which I did several times. Then they just stopped responding.

There comes a point where payments are so overdue, it's time to take legal action.
