Hello,
I have been a Superhost with Airbnb for the last 5+ years and I am having a major issue that I can't seem to resolve: Airbnb owes me @ 2,200 USD from six payouts and clearly makes no attempt to pay me.
1. Between June 1 and June 11 (2023), six payouts arrived on my wife's bank account (Bancolombia).
2. Because of a bank snafu, the six payouts were returned to Airbnb by her bank.
3. I contacted Airbnb host support and sent a SWIFT proof to Airbnb that these six payments were returned (see attached)
4. On 14-07-2023, **., from Airbnb host support, located the returned payouts and confirmed that these would be re-paid to my default host bank account (see attached)
5. Ten days later, I still didn't get any (re)payouts.
6. As **; has suggested - I contacted Airbnb host support (email and phone) to inquire about the missing (re)payouts.
Ever since, all I get are typical runaround answers i.e. "We need to escalate this to another department and they will contact you" (no one ever does) or "Yes, I can see the original payouts were paid in June" (when I am clearly talking about the payouts that were returned in July!), etc.
Does anybody have any idea how I can get a hold of someone at Airbnb who can actually, efficiently sort this out and not just tell me that they're very sorry and "someone will call me back"?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance 🙂SWIFT proof of returned payouts

Did your bank explain why your Payments were returned to ABB?
I see you have payments through ABB London Payments Office in the UK
It is important that you email them directly - there details are readily available online.
Please also mention that it would help with Research and Development within the systems in place because Jurisdictions are different across the world and it's one way of ensuring a positive resolution to improve Customer Experiences.
@Tara-Bunch, would you also please follow up on this if it's in your scope of Job description and practice?
Thank you for your prompt answers, Helen427!
=> Did your bank explain why your Payments were returned to ABB?
- Yes, it was basically administrative verification delays of the funds' origin and the money was automatically sent back after 15 days.
- Even though everything was cleared in the end, it was agreed with Roberto R. from ABB host support that the "re-payouts" would be sent to the host's default bank account (see letter)

- All I found online is a physical mail address in London or an email address for their office in Ireland (terms@airbnb.com) which seems pretty vague.
Is this what that you had in mind?

- I'm sorry but this last part I don't understand.
Should I add this sentence to my original post? Mention this when I call ABB host support? Tag R&D in this post?
Thank you for any further advice.
Hello,
I am having a similar issue, they have not paid me for over a month and owe $20,000 usd.
They keep giving me the runaround saying it is a glitch in their system.
Any avenue that you found to reach someone who can do anything would be much appreciated
