Airbnb sent me offer of $150 if I hosted 18 guests dec-Jan

I received a notification that Airbnb was offering $150 bonus to hosts that completed 18 nights or 11 guests between mid-Dec and mid-Jan.

they displayed this offer 3 or so timed in early December each time I logged in, in notifications.

I had fulfilled this and now they are saying there was no such offer

anyone else experience this???

No we've been under lockdown in December and January here in the UK, so we wouldn't have been notified.

Did you take a screenshot of the offer @Elke164 ?

For this forum, all English speakers share a space, however we have several Australian hosts that may have more insight into what you are speaking about. @Cathie19 , @Kath9 perhaps @Robin4 ?

Hi @Elke164  and thanks for the notification @Stephanie .  Elke, I did not seen this offer myself, so I can't really offer any insights. However, had there been such an offer, I would have qualified for it too!

Hi @Stephanie , thanks for the tag to @Elke164 thread. Like @Kath9, I don’t remember seeing such an offer, but December-January are ghost town months for tourists, here in the Top End. Guests are only likely to be visiting family, or checking out places to live with upcoming work transfers. I also had much of December blocked for family, so I’m not much help either. 

But had I remembered it, I’d have laughed at the expectation of THAT MANY stays. I’m pushing to maintain and qualify for ten stays over the superhost quarter.......it won’t be happening.

Maybe @Robin4  might have seen it in a more populous city?

Well Elke, I am an Aussie host, and did not receive any similar offer.

I certainly did meet the criteria......in December/January I hosted 27 guests over 39 stay nights  with my Airbnb activity and a further 7 guests over 10 nights from another site as per....

and my Airbnb hosting amounted to 14 guest stays and 19 nights over the period you mentioned from mid Dec to mid Jan.

But on checking my emails and my subsequent coupon credits, no such offer has come my way.

As @Helen3 has suggested, can you please post a screenshot of the offer as it was sent to you, there would be quite a number of Australian hosts who would have qualified and been entitled to the offer you have described!
