I have heard that my Airbnb income is not taxable income if my guests stay 14 days or less. Is this true?
@Mark4063 Well it would be taxable in the UK (although rent a room schemes allow £7500(?) of tax free income per year). I very much doubt the IRS are even that generous.
Every state in the US has different occupancy taxes @Mark4063 so your accountant will need to look into it. However, I would assume that if you have 25 guests in a year who each stay 13 days, the income from their stays will be subject to tax.
@Mark4063 The income is not taxable if you rent your home for 14 days or less PER TAX YEAR.

@Mark4063 It is NOT the number of days/nights per guest. It is the cumulative number of days rented over your fiscal year.
Are we supposed to get a 1099-K? I haven't received one and do not see one in my account page.
1099s will come to all hosts who make above $600 in the 2022 tax year.
