Are business license required…

So I’m new to the bnb hosting and I’ve been doing all my research on what I need to do to become a host but I think I got one thing confused… does anyone in the Indianapolis area know if it’s required to have a business license to be an host? I’ve read the local state guide lines but it’s not completely clear because some say I need to obtain  the license and others don’t. Can any help me please?
