I want to ask you about hosting this season. Is this kind of season slow or busy? I will be listing my 1 bedroom basement suite by November wondering if you guy can help me before I advertise? My place is close to Nanaimo and Kingsway Vancouver
Your response is greatly appreciated.
Thank you and GodBless
The only person who can answer this question is yourself. You need to do your market research on demand in your location for your sort of property @Beth5941
Use Airdna and other research sources
Thanks Helen
@Beth5941 If your market is professionals/workers looking for a place to stay mid week you should be fine. If its families then you may have problems.
Do watch the costs though as heating over winter can put a huge dent in your wallet if you don't price carefully.
Thank you Mike and Jane
Hi @Beth5941, Welcome to our Community 😊
This can certainly vary depending on the location of your listing. I'm reaching out to some fellow Hosts in the Vancouver area to see if they can share their experiences with you regarding fall season bookings. @Miroglio0 @Marnie65 @Nina155
Good luck,
Thank you Paula
Hi @Beth5941
I'm also in the greater Vancouver area. This season has been kind of slow but I have always found that the nicest places still get booked. Its important for your place to stand out from the others. If you offer a high quality stay with good value you should still get booked up.
Thank you so much for your feedback. Appreciate it
