Hello everyone in Australia who have guests staying either in AIrbnb rental properties or in their shared dwelling.
So……… the joy of it all… Census Night!
We have two guests on-site who will need to be included in this lengthy process. Currently they are out of town sightseeing for the day, so I can’t chat to them about this.
As we are completing our component online, we are going to ask for an extra online form for them to complete separately. If they do or not, we can’t control that……….
After asking for the extra form, would we be fined if they do not complete it?
The difficulty is, that some guests just may wish to ignore the whole thing, seeing it as an intrusion whilst on their holiday.
Anyone with Census 2016 experience, who can share their tactics and the best way to go about this? Luckily, this wasn’t an issue for us in 2016. Oh, but it is today/ tonight!
