Hi @Allyson125
If you’re just starting out, one good approach is to become a host first by managing yours, a friend’s or relative’s property. This allows you to gain hands-on experience and build positive reviews. Having a solid track record with good ratings makes it much easier to attract co-hosting opportunities later on, as owners are more confident working with someone who already has proven results.
Have a look at the Airbnb cohosting section on the Airbnb Help website @Allyson125
The vast majority of owners look for cohosts with experience of hosting themselves so start by hosting a room in your home to build up your experience.
Hello,
thank you so much for advice.
Sadly I looked If I could host where I live and I cant. 😞
Hello again @Helen3,
is there a place on airbnb for co host and applying?
cause I didnt find . I cant seem to find section for co host.
as I cant host as of now with my own place.
Thanks again 🙂
If you google cohost Airbnb the information should come up - it's on the Airbnb Help website @Allyson125 @Elisa Has already provided you with a direct link to cohosting information on her earlier post to you.
You wouldn't be able to apply though as you need to be an established host with high ratings and reviews to be able to apply to be an Airbnb approved cohost.
Yes that's the thing, I dont know people that has airbnb, and I cant rent my home as of now. so that is why I was asking 😞 as I really really want to start this journey
Hi @Allyson125 😊,

Hello @Elisa , 🙂
Thank you for your message, and I apologize for the delay in my response. I usually take pride in replying very quickly, so I appreciate your patience.
I’m very motivated to become a co-host. I love traveling and recently returned from a month-long trip where I stayed in many Airbnbs. Those experiences helped me develop a strong sense of what makes guests feel comfortable and well taken care of, and that’s exactly the kind of experience I aim to provide. I know that one thing that I am good at in life, is to make people feel good and thats exactly what I want the guests to feel like.
It would be a pleasure to team up and support you in any way I can.
I’m still new to the Airbnb Community platform, which is why I initially missed the notification. That said, I’m very responsive on Airbnb itself and reply quickly to messages. Now that I’m familiar with how notifications work here, I’ll be much faster moving forward.
Thank you again for reaching out.
Best regards,
Ally 🙂
