Hiya, I'm reaching out to Brighton Hosts! Does anyone have planning permission? Our mortgage lender is asking we do this but we know its unlikely we will get it. Looking for advice, TIA!

@Ellie555 if your mortgage is based on rental income I guess it is hardly surprising they want planning permission. Do you need planning permission in Brighton?

Why don't you think you will get change of use . Book in a call with the planning team at Brighton Council and talk through your proposed plans with them @Ellie555

We have been advised by the council it is unlikely to be approved due to shortage of housing in the city.
