I am a long-time superhost. This isn't an urgent or important issue, but I don't think the public board is the right place to ask.
During the early months of the pandemic, I started a listing based on my active listing that converted it to a day-use office (0 beds). But I never listed it. It remains on my "listings" page as "In progress."
All I want to do is delete this in-progress listing so I stop getting notifications to "publish" it.
But I can't access edit controls. When I click on it, I am sent to a hosting how-to video. Tried and failed:
Thought I'd ask here, first, if anyone else has had and solved this problem. If all else fails, I will call Superhost support and throw myself at the mercy of those inconsistent elements.
Thanks,
Ugh @Patti4, that's annoying. Have you tried publishing it for a hot minute (or 24 hours), then de-activating it? To ensure you get no bookings, you could publish it with a blocked calendar...
Thanks, @Ann72 - I thought of that too but I can't access any edit controls at all. When I click on the link in "My listings" it sends me to the hosting how-to video. A dead end.
I have one, too - barely started. I gave up trying to delete it after months of on-again-off-again tinkering. After 2+ years they’ve stopped prompting. Maybe these somehow fatten their stats? Data & metrics is the name of the game for “The AirBnb Family”
@Rakesh36 ’s advice worked! Use the mobile app and follow Rakesh’s instructions. Best,
Patti
Thank you, @Rakesh36 - long click and “Permanently delete this listing“ did the trick. But I got an error message saying I didn’t have permission (screenshot attached) so I closed the app and reopened, and the listing I wanted to delete is gone. Thank you so much.

@Patti4 woo hoo - My irritating, half finished, listing is now deleted. Great result even though I got the same error message.
Thank you so much @Rakesh36. Tagging @Patti4 and @Marie6762 for the helpful info!
