Car insurance

We are considering having a car stored in the locked garage of our Airbnb home in Florida. The insurance came back significantly more expensive than I anticipated. Does anyone have a good solution or recommendation for cheap insurance since the car will only be driven a few hundred miles annually?

@Chris18289 , there are a couple of options depending on your insurance company.  Nationwide has a pay-per-mile for low mileage cars, other companies may allow you to suspend your liability and collision while the car is in storage.  There are also car storage programs but then that will probably result in a higher premium when you switch back.  My suggestion is to enlist an independent insurance broker that has access to all the different programs so you get what need.

Have you tried Geico? They are very affordable, compared to the others who gave us quotes for our car.
