Certificate of occupancy for LA home

Hi all! I wanted to list my place and wanted to check if anyone knows whether a certificate of occupancy is required before I list it. It's a 2 bed, 1 bath in Los Angeles. I would be renting out the entire home. Thank you in advance for any insight!

Sounds nice!

Excellent question, best answered by City Hall. Check with the Planning and Zoning office for all your questions and get your process going. They can advise you on local ordinances including zoning, public health and safety, parking, emergency and neighborhood issues, insurance, noise and quiet hours, permits, TOT tax collection, etc. They are about setting up business ventures of any sort, and are the very helpful local professionals. Their advice will be the best for you, the most current and the most personal to your exact location.
