We have received a Tax Return Form ( Document Number 10074921) to file Quaterly Tax of 3% on the Gross Income. We know Airbnb collect tax and remit on our behalf as per the guideline below ; However Airbnb was not able confirm they are paying the City of St. Louis.
We wanted to know if other host are filling this quarterly return with the City of St. Louis OR confirmed that Airbnb is already paying on our behalf? Thank you.

Here are the governmental jurisdictions Airbnb is collecting taxes for on one of your listings in St Louis (they do not disclose percentages):
Many local jurisdictions still require the Host to report the taxes owed quarterly, but write "(-0- due - collected and paid by Airbnb" on the return. You'll have to contact the City of St Louis to confirm that's what you need to do. Airbnb only pays taxes in one lump sum to each jurisdiction.
You can verify percentages that should be collected by contacting the State and City of St Louis.

If Airbnb is collecting taxes are they just paying it to the revenue department under one lump sum? Without an STR permit there is no identification to assign money to.
@Deanne11 Yes, that is correct. Whether you have a permit or not, it's paid to the taxing authorities in one lump sum.
