Co Host

Co Host

Hello, I was once an Airbnb host with top ratings & great reviews for over year. I no longer have that listing and currently not managing any properties right now. I would love to co-host in the meantime however I don’t meet Airbnb’s qualifications anymore. Is there another way for me to co-host? Or a website that I can find hosts that are looking for assistance?

Hello  @Tanisha34  and  @Paula  ,

In my life I volunteer to manage a local Airbnb host community in the South West of France.

Only Airbnb hosts can be part of the group.

I have noticed that we often have guests in the group who would like occasional help from an experienced host.

So my reflex is to direct them to a co-host in the network because I know that their profile and experience are verified by AIRBNB.

For now, while waiting to be able to meet the program criteria again, you can contact your local tourist office, a real estate agency or a concierge service to offer your services.

Sharing a post on your social media would also be a boost.

See you very soon.

Hello @Tanisha34, Thank you for posting in the Community Center.

I’m reaching out to three experienced co-hosts to see if they can share some ideas with you: @Laëtitia-Stephy0 @New-Bern-Vacation-Rentals0 and @Elise43

Hi @Tanisha34 ! I would recommend reaching out through your social networks to try to find someone who needs help. After you build a track record again, you could try applying to Airbnb’s Experienced Co-hosting network. But those of us on there definitely do not rely on it for our leads! We go out in our community and make connections, and try to find clients that way. I know some co-hosts have had a lot of success partnering with realtors.

I have friends who have turned into clients, and as your reputation grows, you’ll get more. I would also try to see if you can get into your old listing to screenshot reviews— reviews are gold!

A website is very helpful too!

I hope this helps a bit!

Warmly,

Elise
