Co-Hosting in Muizenberg

Co-Hosting in Muizenberg

Hello everyone from a beautiful autumnal evening in Muizenberg, Cape Town.

I have a very small, personalised and bespoke co-hosting business locally - wondering if I may and how to promote it here? Also, I'd appreciate some feedback as to the expected co-hosting fees for 2026? AT present, I have just increased mine after 5 years to 16%. My add on is that I am a photographer and  landscape and maintenance gardener with a love of indoor plants and interior design, so I 'have an eye' for making things lovely. Anyway, without harping on. It would be great to get some objective feedback. I don't even have a website, just a wee little landing page mostly because I want to keep things personal and hands on, so in other words, you cannot book our services online.

Thanks a million for your valued input!

@Tracey-Leigh0

The 16 listings you co-host look nice and have on average good reviews !

Do you know the "Official Cape Town Airbnb Host Community" ?

It can be found here:

https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Local-Host-Clubs/ct-p/en_clubs

Thank you Emiel1 - I do know this group of local hosts. They are a Facebook group.  Unfortunately I try to avoid FB so I miss a lot of their communication. The reason being is when I engage with FB I end up getting sucked in and I really do not have the time!

Hi @Tracey-Leigh0

Airbnb asks those joining its community not to use to advertise commercial services such as cohosting.

But nothing to stop you joining in life here and contributing advice and support to other hosts just to be part of the community.

Thank you, @Helen3

Noted. Hope your weekend has been marvellous.
