Cohost offering cleaning service only

Hi everyone,

I manage my own Airbnb’s as well as several others. As a cohost for the properties I manage, I handle all guest interactions, schedule, review and pay cleaners, purchase household and cleaning supplies, etc.

I have recently had two hosts inquire about managing the cleaning of their rentals (no guest interactions) and am curious if others do this and what to charge.

I typically charge a percentage of each stay for cohosting and the cleaning fee (which goes to the cleaner) but am thinking the charge should be a flat rate per clean plus the cleaning fee.

I’d appreciate any advice!

Hi there @Monica226, I would recommend taking a look on our "Get Local" page as you might be able to find local Hosts. Also, please note that advertising on the Community Center is not allowed.

I hope this helps.

@Monica226  If I were in need of a person to schedule and monitor housekeeping only, I would expect to be charged the fee for the actual housekeeper plus an hourly rate for the person who schedules and verifies the cleaning.  I anticipate a minimum of 2 hours per rental at $20-40 per hour (rates adjusted for geographic location or driving needs) for this person's services.
