Concern About Payout Timing

Hi Airbnb Family,

I’m new to Airbnb and recently hosted my first guests during the Masters here in Augusta, GA. I had understood that I would receive my payout 24 hours after my guests checked in, which was initially shown as April 10th in the app. However, the payout date later changed to April 12th, which is the same day my guests are checking out. I’m a bit concerned and just want to make sure everything is on track. Could someone please clarify the payout process for me?

As a new host your first payment can take a little longer:

If you’re a new Host, we may hold your payouts for 30 days after your first reservation is confirmed. If your first reservation is more than 30 days away, your payout will be released 24 hours after your guest’s scheduled check-in. This will apply to any payouts scheduled for release during those 30 days.

My own payments sometimes arrive a day or two late when they're scheduled over a combination of a weekend and public holidays, but in general you don't have to worry. Airbnb's payment system tends to run quite smoothly and there's usually no significant delay.
