Considering constant rental vs Airbnb return, in South Devon.

Hi, As a green to this person, I wonder what benefit Airbnb has over constant room rental?

Do I set the costs?

@Jeremy1005 It sounds like spare room.com might be a better option for you. Their fees are much lower than Airbnb and you will get to meet the person before they rent. Airbnb only males sense for shorter term rental where you can charge more money.

It depends on what you're trying to achieve.

Long term rentals give you stability of a fixed income .

STRs normally give you a higher rate but no guarantee around income .
