Council Tax and single occupancy

Hi All

Wanting some information with regards to Council Tax and Airbnb.

I have just started with a couple of bookings with one room.. Unsure how many like us all how many and when we will get in the future. I am living in the property and this is my only place I am living

Currently I get the 25% discount for a single person in my home. Will I need to contact my local authority and pay the full Council tax?

Sorry if this question has been posted before but I will be grateful for any information.

@Allan407 Difficult question - Single person discount is not affected when you have guests for the weekend so why would it be for Airbnb (except you are getting paid). If I were you I would ring the council and ask them. In my experience they are usually very helpful.
